Syrian Foreign Minister Assad Hassan al-Shaibani strongly condemned the “treacherous Israeli aggression” against the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside and called for international stance.
In a statement posted Friday on X, al-Shaibani warned that the continuation of such attacks poses a serious threat to regional peace and security and requires a decisive international stance to halt Israeli violations.
He added that the assault on Beit Jinn amounted to a “fully fledged crime” against the Syrian people, stressing that Syria affirms its legitimate right to defend its land and citizens by all means recognized under international law and the UN Charter.
