Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, met Thursday in the British capital with UK Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Hamish Falconer, during an official visit to the United Kingdom.
According to Foreign Ministry statement , the talks covered ways to enhance bilateral relations and reviewed regional and international developments of common concern.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation on issues affecting stability and security in the Middle East.
The meeting came within the framework of Minister al-Shaibani’s official program in the United Kingdom, which includes discussions with government and parliamentary officials.
