Erdogan reiterates his country's support for Syria

Ankara, SANA-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed, Tuesday, his country’s continued support for Syria and its rejection of attempts to spread chaos on its territory.

Erdogan told reporters on his way back from a visit to China according to Anadolu Agency, ‘’ We will not abandon Syria. We will continue to stand by them, no one will be able to prevent Syria from rising again’’

The president added: “Whoever tries to undermine this process will pay the price”, stressing that neither Turkey nor Syria would tolerate those who “seek to stir up chaos” in Syria.

The statements of the Turkish president on Monday reflect the importance of the unity of Syria as a pillar for regional stability

Furthermore, Erdogan said about Gaza that ‘’ “Israel’s massacres will never be forgotten” and fair people will never forget how children and parents were slaughtered in Palestine.
