Aleppo. May.19 (SANA) A convoy transporting around 600 displaced families from Ain al-Arab, returned to their hometowns and villages in the Afrin region of northern Aleppo on Tuesday.
The operation was supervised by a presidential committee responsible for implementing a Jan. 29 agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The return marks one of the latest efforts aimed at facilitating the voluntary return of displaced civilians to areas affected by years of conflict and displacement in northern Syria.
