Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 28 (SANA) The death toll from Israel’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 74,022, with 175,098 people wounded, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
Hospitals across the Gaza Strip received four bodies and 19 wounded people over the past 24 hours, the ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
The latest figures bring the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire in October to 1,421 and the number wounded to 4,983, according to the ministry.
It said more victims remained under rubble and on roads, with ambulance and rescue crews unable to reach them.
The war has caused widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure and severely disrupted essential services across Gaza. The ministry said restrictions on the entry of humanitarian supplies and materials needed for reconstruction have compounded conditions in the territory.
