Civil Defense begins second phase of rubble removal in al-Qaboun neighborhood, Damascus

Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Civil Defense, in collaboration with Damascus Governorate, launched Sunday the second phase of the rubble removal project in al-Qaboun neighborhood.

The organization announced on its Telegram channel that this phase involves opening the road connecting Tishreen and al-Qaboun neighborhoods, in addition to expanding main and secondary roads within the neighborhood.

It emphasized the significance of these activities in maintaining public facilities and the collapsed sewage network, which poses serious threats to infrastructure, public health, and the environment.

The organization stressed that rubble removal is a crucial step in the recovery process, as it breathes new life into devastated neighborhoods, restores hope, and mitigates environmental and health hazards caused by the debris.
