ACSAD and Aga Khan foundation launch joint initiative to strengthen Syrian agriculture

The Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) and the Aga Khan Foundation signed a scientific and technical memorandum of understanding to collaborate on addressing agricultural and environmental challenges in Syria.

The agreement focuses on transferring scientific expertise, applying modern technologies, and providing improved agricultural inputs to support farmers and rural communities.

Both parties aim to strengthen climate-smart agriculture and sustainable development, benefiting thousands of rural families across Syria.

ACSAD, established in 1968 and based in Damascus, works on agricultural development projects across Arab countries to improve productivity and food security.
