Berlin, Jan. (SANA) Syrian President Ahmad al‑Sharaa will pay an official visit to Germany next Tuesday, where he is scheduled to meet German President Frank‑Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace in Berlin.
The Syrian Presidency’s Media Directorate said that President al-Sharaa will meet with the German Federal President for official talks and to discuss ways to develop relations between the two countries.
Syrian-German relations have witnessed continuous cooperation in various fields since the liberation of the country on December 8, 2014, and the fall of the deposed regime.
Germany reopened its embassy in Damascus on March 20 after a 13-year closure, marking a significant step in re-establishing diplomatic ties.
