Minister of Interior Anas Khattab discussed with the representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Syria, Meritxell Relaño Arana, joint cooperation plans to support children and the most vulnerable groups in the country.
The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, reviewed current work plans between the two sides and discussed mechanisms for developing them in line with urgent humanitarian needs, particularly in the areas of child protection and the implementation of priority programs.
Minister Khattab emphasized the importance of continued coordination with UNICEF, praising its role in supporting Syrian children and emphasizing the need to unify efforts to achieve sustainable development and serve the public interest.
