Student Mazen Fendi was awarded third place in the Under-12 division at the World Chess Championship, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan at the end of last September.
Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Tarkou, honored student Mazen in recognition of his outstanding achievement.
The event, which ran from September 19 to 30, 2025, featured over 800 participants from 84 countries.
