Cairo, Jan. 31 (SANA) -Egypt welcomed Saturday, the comprehensive agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), expressing hope that it will contribute to supporting Syria’s unity, enhancing its security and stability.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement published on its official website,
that Egypt welcomes the announcement of reaching an agreement on a ceasefire between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and the understandings it included regarding the start of an integration process and hope that the agreement will represent an important step towards launching a comprehensive political process that includes all Syrian components without exclusion, and contributes to supporting the unity of the Syrian state, enhancing its security and stability.”
The Syrian government announced Friday that it had reached an agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on a ceasefire, within a comprehensive accord.
