Damascus – SANA
The Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Osama al-Rifai held talks with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Damascus, Faisal bin Saud al-Mujfel, addressing a range of issues of mutual interest.
The two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern. They underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and coordinating efforts, while affirming the deep historical ties that ties the Syrian and Saudi peoples.
