Damascus, SANA – Speaker of the Higher Committee for People’s Assembly Elections Nawar Nejmeh declared that the subcommittees of all regions start as of today the process of selecting the electing bodies and direct contact with those who were elected and ask them to submit their documents.
Nejmeh said in a statement to SANA “names are then submitted to the Higher Electoral Committee for approval, and the preliminary list is then published, allowing all citizens to file objections against any members who do not meet the eligibility criteria for membership in the electoral bodies”.
