London, Aug. 16 (SANA) UK Minister of State for the Middle East Stephen Doughty on Sunday called for an end to violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank, amid growing international concern over attacks on civilians and property.
“The appalling and horrifying acts of settler violence and terrorism that we are once again witnessing in the West Bank must stop,” Doughty said in a post on X.
Britain on July 30 condemned Israeli settlement plans and continued settler attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank, saying settlements are illegal under international law and undermine prospects for a two-state solution.
Settler attacks against Palestinians and their property have escalated across the West Bank in recent weeks, prompting international condemnation and calls for greater protection of civilians and accountability for those responsible.
