Riyadh, Aug. 2 (SANA) Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed regional developments and their regional and international implications during a phone call Sunday with U.S. President Donald Trump, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
SPA said the crown prince stressed the need to prioritize dialogue to reduce tensions and emphasized the importance of making every possible effort to achieve de-escalation that would pave the way for diplomatic solutions capable of preserving regional security and stability while preventing a broader conflict with regional and international repercussions.
The phone call came amid intensified regional diplomatic contacts aimed at containing tensions, reducing escalation and preventing the conflict from widening, while supporting political and diplomatic efforts to resolve regional crises and reinforce security and stability in the region.
