Occupied Jerusalem, June 24 (SANA) Four Palestinians were injured and nine others arrested on Wednesday during separate attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers across the West Bank, according to Palestinian media reports.

Palestine’s WAFA news agency reported that armed Israeli settlers entered the Wadi al-Rakheem and Khillet al-Hummus areas near the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, assaulting residents and injuring four Palestinians. The settlers also damaged and uprooted approximately 60 trees, the report said.

In separate raids, settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the village of Burin south of Nablus, the town of Mikhmas northeast of Jerusalem and the town of al-Rashaida near Bethlehem, causing property damage.

WAFA also reported that settlers began bulldozing Palestinian-owned land near Ramallah for the construction of a road linked to a nearby settlement, extending from the town of Kobar to the village of Beitillu northwest of the city.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out raids in several areas of the West Bank, including Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, Jerusalem and areas west of Ramallah, arresting nine Palestinians after conducting searches of their homes, according to the report.

Israeli forces also established a checkpoint at the western entrance to al-Issawiya northeast of Jerusalem, restricting movement in the area. In the village of al-Walaja northwest of Bethlehem, forces demolished agricultural structures and confiscated farming equipment, including solar panels and irrigation water pumps, WAFA reported.

According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, there are currently 916 Israeli military checkpoints and gates across the West Bank, including 243 that have been installed since Oct. 7, 2023.
