Beirut, June 9 (SANA) Israeli airstrikes targeting towns in southern Lebanon on Tuesday resulted in several casualties, including two Syrians.
Successive strikes on the town of Ansariyeh left one person dead and three others injured in an initial toll, while raids between Ansariyeh and Adloun killed two Syrians, according to the National News Agency.
Lebanon’s Civil Defense Directorate said in a statement that its teams carried out rescue operations following strikes on buildings in the city of Tyre, evacuating three wounded civilians who were transferred to hospital for treatment.
One person was also injured when an Israeli strike hit a water station on the Ibl al-Saqi road.
