Occupied Jerusalem, June 8(SANA) Israeli occupation authorities have issued a military order placing 208 dunums of Palestinian-owned land in the Tubas governorate in the occupied West Bank under military control.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said the designated area will be added to an existing military site in the region. It added that the cumulative land placed under Israeli control in the area has reached approximately 1,292 dunums between 1979 and 2026.
The commission and Wafa reported that the measure is part of broader actions affecting land in the northern Jordan Valley and Tubas area.
Palestinian sources have also reported recent discussions of plans for additional settlement construction in the West Bank.
