Damascus, May 20 (SANA) The National Earthquake Center said its stations recorded a 6.0-magnitude earthquake at 9:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday in the Turkish city of Malatya, which was felt by some residents in northern Syria.
Malatya, in eastern Türkiye, is located roughly 150 to 200 kilometers (93 to 124 miles) from parts of Syria’s northern border, depending on the specific border point measured.
Residents in northern Syria said they felt the tremors, but no damage or injuries were reported.
