Abu Dhabi, May 14 (SANA) The United Arab Emirates on Wednesday denied reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had visited the country or that any Israeli military delegation had been received on Emirati territory.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that relations between the UAE and Israel are “public and based on the known and announced Abraham Accords,” adding that they are not founded on “secrecy or hidden arrangements.”
The ministry said any claims regarding unannounced visits or undisclosed arrangements were “baseless unless issued by the relevant official authorities in the UAE.”
The UAE also called on media organizations to verify information before publication and avoid circulating unconfirmed reports or using them to create political narratives.
Earlier Wednesday, several media outlets, citing Israeli sources, reported that Netanyahu had secretly visited the UAE during the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
