Occupied Jerusalem, April 20 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces continued attacks across the Gaza Strip and stormed several cities and towns in the West Bank on Monday, killing one Palestinian, wounding several others, and arresting dozens, according to Palestinian sources.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that an Israeli drone struck al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, killing one Palestinian and wounding another.
Three Palestinians were also injured in a separate drone strike on Rashid Street, west of Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, several Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire near Abu Hamid roundabout in central Khan Younis.
In the West Bank, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians in the village of Abwein, north of Ramallah, after raiding their homes.
Forces also stormed the village of Deir Sawadan and the city of Qalqilya, where they deployed in the al-Qar’an neighborhood and arrested a Palestinian after searching his home.
In Nablus, Israeli forces entered the Rafidia neighborhood, backed by military vehicles, and fired live ammunition, wounding one Palestinian. They also raided a residential building in the al-Makhfia neighborhood, searching homes and causing damage.
More than 50 Palestinians were arrested during raids in Hebron and the towns of Yatta and Beit Ummar. Israeli forces also set up checkpoints and closed several main and secondary roads.
In Anabta, east of Tulkarm, dozens of Palestinians were detained during an ongoing military operation.
Medical sources said two days earlier that the death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza had risen to 72,549, with 172,274 injured since October 7, 2023.
