Kuwait City, April 6 (SANA) Six people were injured early Monday after debris and projectiles fell on a residential area in northern Kuwait, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Health Ministry spokesperson Abdullah al-Sanad said the ministry’s central operations room received reports at dawn that debris and projectiles had fallen in the area, which he said resulted from an Iranian attack.
Emergency medical teams and ambulance services were dispatched immediately, al-Sanad said, adding that six people sustained injuries ranging from minor wounds to temporary hearing effects caused by loud explosions, as well as injuries from falls.
Earlier, the Kuwaiti General Staff said air defenses had intercepted hostile missile and drone attacks at dawn.
Over the past week, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said several operational facilities belonging to Kuwait National Petroleum Company and Petrochemical Industries Company were targeted in a drone attack from Iran.
