Occupied Jerusalem, April 6 (SANA) Israeli forces arrested nine Palestinians on Monday during raids across several areas of the West Bank, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
WAFA reported that the arrests took place in the Bethlehem governorate, Ramallah and al-Bireh, Qalqilya, as well as the towns of Burqa and Deir al-Ghusun. The agency said Israeli forces entered and searched homes in the targeted areas.
Residents reported that property was damaged during the raids and that individuals were assaulted before being detained, according to WAFA.
Separately, Israeli occupation authorities continued to restrict access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem for the 38th consecutive day, preventing worshippers from entering amid tightened security measures and a blockade around the Old City and mosque entrances.
On Sunday, Israeli forces arrested 10 Palestinians in the West Bank, including three children, WAFA reported. A Palestinian man was also injured by live fire near the West Bank barrier in the Beit Ula area, south of Hebron.
