Baghdad, April 4 (SANA) Foreign oil storage facilities in western Basra, Iraq, were targeted by a drone attack early on Saturday morning, causing a fire to break out at the sites.
According to Reuters, citing Iraqi security sources, the attack destroyed part of the facilities, while firefighting teams quickly brought the blaze under control.
The sources confirmed that no casualties were reported among the facility workers, although the material damage was significant.
Since the start of the U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict on February 28, Iran has continued missile and drone attacks on several Arab countries, resulting in casualties and damage to critical infrastructure.
