Occupied Jerusalem, March 31 (SANA) The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Tuesday condemned Israel’s approval of a law allowing the execution of Palestinian prisoners, describing it as dangerous, unprecedented and a violation of international humanitarian law.
In a statement cited by WAFA, the OIC warned of growing risks for thousands of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, pointing to ongoing abuses including torture, humiliation, starvation and the denial of basic rights.
It said such actions form part of what it described as a pattern of systematic violence against Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The Israeli move has drawn broader Arab and international concern, coming amid intensified Israeli operations in Palestinian territories and raising fears of further regional instability.
