Occupied Jerusalem, March 29 (SANA) Israeli warplanes struck police positions on Sunday in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, killing six Palestinians, according to Palestinian media outlets.
Several others were also wounded in the strike, the reports said.
Israel continues to carry out strikes and incursions in Gaza despite a ceasefire that has been in effect for the 171st consecutive day.
On Saturday, one Palestinian was killed and several others were wounded after Israeli forces opened fire east of Gaza City, according to Palestinian media reports.
