Amman, March 16 (SANA) Jordan and Kuwait renewed their condemnation of Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting their territories and other Gulf states, calling for intensified diplomatic efforts to ease rising regional tensions.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and his Kuwaiti counterpart Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah discussed the escalating situation during a phone call on Monday, according to a statement from Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted on X.
The two ministers stressed the need to restore calm through diplomatic engagement that preserves regional security and stability while respecting the sovereignty of states.
The Middle East has witnessed escalating military tensions since Feb. 28, following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran that were followed by Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting several countries across the region.
