Beirut, March 15 (SANA) At least 14 people were killed and several others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting towns in southern Lebanon, Lebanese media reported Sunday.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), citing the Ministry of Health, said an Israeli strike on the al-Rahibat neighborhood in the city of Nabatieh on Saturday killed seven people, including four children, and wounded five others.
In the town of Haret Saida, another strike killed four people and injured two others, the report said.
A separate strike in the town of al-Qatrani in the Jezzine district left three people dead and six others injured, according to preliminary figures.
The southern suburbs of Beirut and several areas across Lebanon have been under intense Israeli bombardment since early this month following rocket attacks launched by Hezbollah militia against Israeli positions.
