Abu Dhabi, March 12 (SANA) The United Arab Emirates on Thursday condemned Iranian drone attack targeting the port of Salalah in Oman, describing it as a dangerous escalation and a violation of international law.
In a statement carried by the state news agency WAM, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack damaged several fuel storage tanks at the port. The ministry expressed the UAE’s solidarity with Oman and support for all measures taken to safeguard the country’s security and stability.
Omani authorities said Wednesday they shot down several drones, while others struck fuel storage facilities at the coastal port without causing any casualties.
