Abu Dhabi, March 11 (SANA) The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense said Wednesday that its air defense systems responded to missile and drone attacks launched from Iran.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, the ministry said UAE air defenses were intercepting ballistic missiles while fighter jets were engaging drones. The ministry added that defensive operations were ongoing.
On Tuesday, the UAE Ministry of Defense said its air defense forces destroyed eight ballistic missiles and 26 Iranian drones inside UAE airspace.
