Beirut, March 11 (SANA) At least 14 people were killed and several others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting towns in Lebanon’s Baalbek and , Lebanese media reported Wednesday.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) said Israeli warplanes struck a residential building in the town of Tamnine al-Tahta in the Baalbek district. The building was home to a Syrian family, and the strike killed 10 people and injured five others.
The agency added that three young men were killed in an airstrike carried out shortly after midnight on a house in the town of al-Sharqiyah. A paramedic from the Islamic Health Authority was also killed in a separate strike on the town of Kfar Tebnit.
Earlier Wednesday, an airstrike hit the vicinity of a public school in the town of Arabsalim in the Nabatieh district, as well as the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, according to local reports.
Meanwhile, an Israeli drone targeted a BMW sport utility vehicle in the Saf al-Hawa area of Bint Jbeil, causing several injuries.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said Tuesday that 12 people were killed and others wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting several towns in southern Lebanon.
