Saudi Defense Ministry: 28 drones destroyed after entering Saudi airspace

Riyadh, Mar. 13 (SANA) The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that it has downed several drones that entered the country’s airspace.

The Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday that the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki al-Maliki, stated that 28 drones were intercepted and destroyed after entering Saudi airspace.

The ministry had previously reported that a drone crashed into a residential area in the Saudi province of al-Zulfi, causing minor material damage, but no injuries.
