Amman, March 10 (SANA) Jordan on Tuesday strongly condemned an Iranian attack that targeted a residential building in Manama, Bahrain’s capital, killing one woman and injuring several others.
Jordan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the Petra News Agency that the kingdom “rejects and denounces these heinous attacks, which represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of Bahrain and a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.”
The ministry stressed Jordan’s full solidarity with Bahrain in confronting what it described as Iranian aggression, affirming its support for all measures Manama takes to protect its sovereignty, security and the safety of its citizens.
Bahraini authorities said earlier that an Iranian strike on a residential building in Manama killed a woman and injured eight others.
Iran has carried out missile and drone attacks on several Arab countries, including Bahrain, causing casualties and damage to infrastructure, in what officials say is part of the wider regional military escalation linked to the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran.
