Iranian escalation targets civilian infrastructure in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kharj province

Al-Kharj, March 8 (SANA) The Saudi Civil Defense announced on Sunday that two people were killed and 12 others injured following the impact of a military projectile in Al-Kharj province, located southeast of the capital, Riyadh.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a spokesperson for the Civil Defense stated that the projectile struck a residential site belonging to a maintenance and cleaning company. The attack resulted in the deaths of two individuals of Indian and Bangladeshi nationalities. Additionally, 12 residents of Bangladeshi nationality sustained various injuries, and significant material damage was reported at the site.

This incident comes as Iran continues to intensify its missile and drone strikes against several Arab nations, including Saudi Arabia. These attacks have increasingly targeted civilian facilities, residential compounds, and vital energy infrastructure, significantly escalating regional tensions and endangering civilian lives.
