Abu Dhabi,March 5 (SANA) Dubai Ports World (DP World) said Wednesday that operations at Dubai’s Jebel Ali Port are continuing as normal, with maritime and commercial traffic uninterrupted despite regional tensions.
The company stated in a statement carried by the Emirates News Agency that it is monitoring developments and working with authorities to maintain efficiency and safety across the port.
Jebel Ali, the region’s largest port, handles more than 15 million containers a year and serves as a major hub linking global markets.
The announcement comes amid rising oil and gas prices and disruptions to shipping following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz due to escalating U.S.–Israeli and Iranian strikes.
