Washington, Mar.4 (SANA) Chief of Staff of the US Armed Forces, Gen. Dan Caine, said on Wednesday that Iranian missile attacks have decreased sharply since the start of the US-Israeli strikes.
“The number of ballistic missiles launched by Iran has decreased, and suicide drone attacks have also declined significantly. Ballistic missile attacks have decreased by 86% compared to the first day, while drone launches have decreased by 73%,” Future Warfare Magazine site quoted Caine as saying in a press briefing.
He added that “the decrease in Iranian missile and drone activity has allowed US forces to expand their operational superiority.”
According to figures released during the press briefing, Iran has launched more than 500 ballistic missiles, including approximately 200 long-range missiles toward Israel and about 300 medium-range missiles toward the Gulf states, in addition to more than 2,000 drones.
Joint US-Israeli strikes have continued to target Iran since last Saturday, while Iran responds with missile and drone attacks on Israel, as well as attacks targeting Gulf states, Iraq, and Jordan.
