Riyadh, March 4 (SANA) The Saudi Ministry of Defense said Wednesday that air defenses destroyed two missiles and a drone over the Eastern Province and al-Kharj province.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Maliki as saying: “Two cruise missiles were destroyed in al-Kharj province and a drone in the Eastern Province.”
The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was targeted by an Iranian drone attack early Tuesday, causing a small fire and minor damage to the building.
Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks on several Arab countries, causing casualties and damage. The attacks come in retaliation for U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran since Saturday.
