Ankara, March 2 (SANA) – Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call on Monday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi to discuss the security situation in the region.
According to Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry, the two sides reviewed recent developments from political, security, and humanitarian perspectives.
They also discussed possible steps to help end the escalation, reduce tensions, and strengthen diplomatic initiatives with relevant regional and international actors.
The talks come amid escalating exchanges of strikes since Saturday between Israel and the United States on one side and Iran on the other, alongside Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting several Gulf countries, as well as Jordan and Iraq.
