Washington, March 2 (SANA) – The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Monday that a fourth American soldier had died during ongoing military operations against Iran.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, CENTCOM said the soldier died from severe injuries sustained during Iranian attacks, adding that large-scale U.S. military operations remain underway.
The command had announced Sunday that three U.S. service members were killed and several others injured in connection with the same operation, without providing further details.
The developments come as Iran continues launching missile and drone attacks targeting several Arab countries following U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iranian territory since Saturday.
