UAE Defense Ministry: Three killed, 58 injured in Iranian attacks

Abu Dhabi, Mar. 1 (SANA) – The UAE Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that three people were killed and 58 others injured as a result of Iranian attacks over the past 24 hours.

According to a ministry statement carried by the Emirates News Agency, the victims were foreign nationals of Asian origin, while those injured included both Arab and foreign nationals.

The ministry said air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 20 ballistic missiles and 311 drones on the second day of the attacks, bringing the total number of intercepted missiles to 152 since Saturday morning. Thirteen missiles reportedly fell into the sea, while 506 out of 541 detected drones were destroyed.

Iranian attacks on several Arab countries have continued for a second consecutive day following the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran.
