Qatar, Kuwait leaders discuss regional security following Iran's strikes

Doha, Feb. 28 (SANA) Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, affirmed during a phone call with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, on Saturday that all capabilities will be mobilized to support the security and stability of the region.

According to the Qatar News Agency, the two leaders stressed that the Iranian attacks on several Arab countries, including Qatar and Kuwait, represent a serious escalation that threatens regional security and stability, emphasizing the need to halt the escalation and return to dialogue and diplomatic solutions.

On Saturday, Iran launched ballistic missile attacks on Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, prompting widespread condemnations. The attacks followed a joint U.S.-Israeli strike on Iranian territory by the United States and Israel.
