Vatican, Dec. 24 (SANA) Pope Leo XIV of the Vatican called on Tuesday for a one-day truce across the entire world on Christmas Day.
“I am renewing my request to all people of good will to respect a day of peace — at least on the feast of the birth of our Saviour,” Agence France-Presse quoted Pope Leo as saying as he left his residence in Castel Gandolfo near Rome to return to the Vatican.
