U.S. President Donald Trump called on his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, to reach an agreement to end hostilities with Russia.
Trump said on “Truth Social” Friday that his meeting with the Ukrainian leader was “very interesting, and cordial.”
“I told him, as I likewise strongly suggested to President Putin, that it is time to stop the killing, and make a DEAL! Enough blood has been shed, with property lines being defined by War and Guts. They should stop where they are. Let both claim Victory, let History decide,” Trump said.
Following his meeting with Trump, the Ukrainian president announced that Washington had rejected his request to obtain American Tomahawk missiles at this time, stating that Russia fears the Tomahawk missiles because they are a powerful weapon
