Damascus, SANA-The Syrian Investment Agency discussed with a delegation from the Turkish Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) ways to expand Turkish investment in Syria’s reconstruction, real estate, and energy sectors.
Deputy Director-General Mohammad Saif al-Din presented Syria’s investment map, stressing opportunities in services and production, and highlighted incentives under the new investment decree. He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to easing procedures and ensuring a more flexible climate for investors.
MÜSİAD Vice Chairman Muhammed Selim Başdemir announced plans to organize a major Syrian–Turkish economic conference in Damascus, reflecting Turkish entrepreneurs’ interest in projects in real estate, energy, and electricity.
MÜSİAD board member Omar Zidan underscored the association’s readiness to build joint ventures with Syrian partners and foster an environment that attracts investment.
MÜSİAD, representing over 50,000 businesspeople worldwide, recently opened a branch in Syria to strengthen economic cooperation.
