Amman, July 19 (SANA) Syria’s under-17 women’s national team cruised to an 8-0 victory over the United Arab Emirates on Saturday in their second Group A match at the sixth West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-17 Championship in Jordan.

Masa Mina scored four goals in the 9th, 17th, 66th, and 71st minutes, while Amal Issa, Tasneem Qteish, Bayan Jomaa Atto, and Sham Mashaal each added a goal.

Syria tops Group A with a perfect six points, having opened its campaign with a 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia.

Syria will conclude the group stage against Lebanon on Tuesday.
