Israeli airstrikes kill eight, including four children, in Gaza

GAZA, SANA – Eight Palestinians, including four children, were killed on Thursday evening as Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent reported that the latest airstrike renewed a series of bombings in the area, leaving 14 others injured. Earlier in the day, an initial strike in the same neighborhood had killed three other civilians.

In a separate attack, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern area of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing a young girl and injuring several others, including children.

According to local health authorities, Israeli forces have killed a total of 12 Palestinians since dawn in Gaza City and Khan Younis. Among the victims are five individuals who were waiting for humanitarian aid when they were struck by Israeli gunfire and shelling.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 62,192 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 157,114 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel’s genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
