Occupied Jerusalem, April 21 (SANA) The number of deaths in Gaza has reached 72,560, with 172,317 wounded since the start of the Israeli military campaign in October 2023, according to medical sources cited by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Strip received 7 fatalities and 21 wounded, the sources said, adding that the figures reflect continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The additional casualties bring the total number of victims linked to reported ceasefire breaches to 784 deaths and 2,214 wounded since the truce came into effect.
Medical sources said a number of victims remain under rubble or in the streets, noting that ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them due to ongoing difficulties on the ground.
