CNN: Netanyahu’s Gaza takeover plan is a battle for political survival

Washington, SANA-The American news network “CNN” described Sunday, Netanyahu’s plan to reoccupy Gaza stipe as a new battle for his political survival that satisfies no one but himself.

In a report, the News Network joined a long list of voices renouncing and denouncing Israel’s new decision as part of the war of extermination it is waging against the people of Gaza.

It pointed out that this decision came despite warnings and opposition, both inside and outside Israel, and that it serves only one goal, which is to give Netanyahu additional time in his battle for political survival.

The network believed that the decision pushed by Netanyahu reveals his internal political maneuvers on the one hand, and places him and Israel in unprecedented international isolation.

Germany has announced that it would suspend some of its military exports to Israel, and Norway, recently issued an order to review its sovereign wealth fund portfolio to ensure the withdrawal of investments from Israeli companies participating in the occupation of the West Bank and the war on the Gaza Strip.

Norway also confirmed continued work on issuing decisions from the International Courts of Justice and Criminal Court regarding Israel’s violation of international law.

Foreign ministers of nine countries “Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, and Britain”, in addition to the High Representative of the European Union, announced their strong rejection of Netanyahu’ Gaza plan that exacerbate the catastrophic humanitarian situation and increase risk of mass displacement of Palestinians.
