International Union of Muslim Scholars Warns Against “Greater Israel” Project

Doha, SANA – The International Union of Muslim Scholars has described the vision of “Greater Israel” as an explicit declaration of a colonial expansionist project aimed at Arab countries and the wider Islamic nation—its land, people, and holy sites.

In a statement published on its website, the Union said that recent remarks by Israeli occupation’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reveal the dangers of such a project, stressing that Gaza today carries the burden of resistance and stands as a shield for the Islamic nation.

The Union called for confronting expansionist schemes through unity and joint action, as the only path to halting such ambitions, restoring Palestinian rights, and protecting Jerusalem. It also urged the international community to act immediately and provide both material and moral support to the people of Gaza by all legitimate means.
