Syrian -Turkish talks to enhance cooperation in health sector

Damascus, SANA-The Acting Minister of Health, Dr. Maher al-Sharaa during his meeting with the Chargé d’Affairs of the Turkish Embassy in Syria, Burhan Koroglu, discussed ways to enhance health cooperation between the two countries.

Syrian -Turkish talks to enhance cooperation in health sectorDuring the meeting held at the ministry, the two sides focused on the need to rehabilitate and restore health facilities, and provide Turkish educational grants targeting doctors and health employees.

Dr. al-Sharaa noted the depth of relations between the two countries and the support provided by the Turkish side during the current stage.

In turn, Koroglu stressed the necessity of lifting sanctions on Syria, which would contribute to improving the health sector in Syria.
